My Dream Companion Free Plan
Quick answer: My Dream Companion offers a genuinely free plan with limited messages and a small number of free Dream Coins at sign-up, but most premium features—like video generation, extra characters, and voice calls—require payment or Dream Coins.
My Dream Companion free access in one minute
You can start using My Dream Companion without payment. Free access includes:
- Limited daily messages (usually 10 to 20)
- Creation of one personal AI character
- Unlimited chats with community characters
- Access to group chats and Dream Roulette
- 25 free Dream Coins at sign-up (as advertised)
Once you use up your daily message allowance or free Dream Coins, you’ll need to pay for Premium, Ultimate, or purchase more coins. Many advanced features are locked behind a paywall.
Free vs premium
Here’s how the free and paid plans compare:
| Feature | Free Plan | Premium | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daily messages | 10–20 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Own characters | 1 | Varies | Varies |
| Group chats | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Voice calls/messages | No (costs coins) | Yes (costs coins) | Yes (included) |
| Image generation | Limited (costs coins) | Included | Unlimited |
| Video generation | No | Yes (costs coins) | Yes (included) |
| Dream Coins/month | 25 (at sign-up) | None/Bonus | 800 included |
Free users get a taste of the service, but significant limitations apply. Premium and Ultimate plans remove most restrictions and add monthly Dream Coins.
Where you'll hit a paywall
While the free plan allows basic text chat and exploration, you’ll encounter blocks with:
- Message limits (typically 10 to 20 per day)
- Running out of Dream Coins
- Creating more than one custom character
- Voice messages and calls
- Video generation
- Unlocking extra episodes in MDC Shorts
Most creative or interactive features beyond simple chat eventually require Dream Coins or a subscription.
Bonus currency on My Dream Companion
New accounts receive 25 free Dream Coins. The referral programme gives both you and a friend bonus coins when your friend upgrades, with larger bonuses after every 10 successful referrals. Some subscription plans include bonus Dream Coins, especially with yearly billing. Note: 'Free token generator' websites and apps are scams—only trust official bonuses on www.mydreamcompanion.com or the in-site offers.
When paying makes sense
Upgrading is most useful if you want unlimited messaging, regular access to advanced features like video generation, or frequent image and voice interactions. The Ultimate plan is the only way to receive a large monthly allowance of Dream Coins (800), which can be spent on images, videos, or calls. If you find yourself reaching the message cap daily or wanting to explore more than one personal AI character, a paid plan will lift these restrictions. Still, the free tier is enough for a first impression or light use.
